Welcome! By God's grace we're beginning this new chapter together, and we're so grateful to celebrate it with the people we love the most.

We first met in 2020 through a mutual friend. I climbed into the back of Jacob’s truck with my roommate’s little black dog, and he told me not to worry about getting dog hair in his backseat. I looked up and met his eyes in the rearview mirror and replied, with plenty of attitude, “Oh, don’t worry, I wasn’t.” Instead of being offended, Jacob just chuckled and said, “Oh, okay then.” After that night I was smitten, though Jacob played hard to get at first. We eventually started dating and quickly realized how strong our connection was, spending nearly all our time together. But in 2020 our story took a pause. Looking back now, we can see that God was working in both of our lives. We each had a lot of growing to do, and it truly was the right person but the wrong time. In September of last year, Jacob sent a simple text that changed everything. After our second “first” date, we both knew the love we had for each other never left and that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. What once felt like a detour, we now see as God’s perfect timing.
