The original meeting was very strange: I was taking my niece to her one year check-up and ran into Mrs. Carol. We were running late so I did not pay much attention to the man putting his little one in the car. A few months later I got a message on Facebook which originally freaked me out. I was adamant that I never wanted to date again, but we decided to meet up and be friends. Our friendship developed over time and six-weeks later we decided that we would be a couple. We have been through so much since, but we would not trade each other for anything. We found peace and solace in each other and continue to do so. We are blessings to each other and would not trade it for anything in the world.
