Things To Do

These are some of our favorite places in Syracuse and beyond. We highly suggest exploring beautiful upstate New York while you're here during peak fall!

Salt City Market

484 South Salina Street, Syracuse, NY 13202

An excellent food hall in downtown Syracuse with lots of local restaurants, a co-op grocery store, and all-day bar/coffee shop, Salt City Coffee (our favorite cup of coffee in Syracuse!) Salt City Coffee also has a few other locations in the area.

Apizza Regionale

260 Genesee Street, Syracuse, NY 13202

Wood-fired pizzas and small plates in a busy, cozy atmosphere. This is where we went on our first night out in Syracuse!

Dinosaur Bar-B-Que

246 West Willow Street, Syracuse, NY 13202

Kevin's favorite spot for always solid BBQ. They have surprisingly good vegetarian options too!

Wildflowers Armory

217 South Salina Street, Syracuse, NY 13202

Multi-vendor market with lots of vintage clothes, jewelry, and local crafts.

The Wedge

2802 James Street, Syracuse, NY 13206

A delicious cheese-centric restaurant and bar. And check out their cheese shop next door, the Curd Nerd!

See the Fall Foliage

See the fall colors at Green Lakes State Park, or take a scenic drive on Route 20!

Ithaca, NY

Ithaca, NY

Meander along the Ithaca Commons and check out some of Kevin and Olivia's favorite spots: Autumn Leaves Bookstore, Saigon Kitchen, Asia Cuisine, Gimme Coffee, and Shortstop Deli. Ithaca is also a great starting point to visit wineries along the Finger Lakes. Olivia's favorites are Dr. Konstantin Frank on Keuka Lake and Standing Stone on Seneca Lake.
