Our first vacation was in Vermont. Quickly, we fell in love with it’s scenic green mountains, crystal clear lakes, and vibrant wildflowers all while falling in love with each other. We knew this was our special place. Vermont is home to excellent hiking trails, quaint downtowns, scenic mountain tops, unique breweries, and maple creamies! Why not Vermont?
We understand that Vermont is a destination for all of our guests and they’re coming from far and wide to come celebrate with us. If you’re driving from the NJ tri-state area, it’ll probably take around 4-6 hours.
Our wedding venue, Lake Bomoseen Lodge, has ample rooms for the night of our wedding. Please see the accommodations and travel page for all details about staying here, or offsite.
Yes, the dress code for our wedding celebration is semi-formal attire. Please keep in mind the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors. Welcome party and farewell breakfast attire is casual.
Our ceremony and reception will be held on the Lake Bomoseen Lodge property. Everything at LBL is walkable or golf carts will transport guests between the ceremony, cocktail, and reception spaces. If you’re staying offsite, please make sure to arrive at Lake Bomoseen Lodge promptly before the ceremony begins. Shuttles to the ceremony site will begin at 3:45pm, please meet at the bottom of the hillside.
No! You will likely have no cell service on the Lake Bomoseen Lodge property. However, there is WiFi. If you’re driving to Vermont, you’ll probably have cell service during the drive until about 30 minutes prior to arriving to Lake Bomoseen. You may want to download any podcasts, books, or Spotify playlists for when you’re relaxing at the lakeside.
We love your little ones, but to allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make our wedding events an adult-only occasion. We appreciate your understanding.
