Flight
If you are flying to celebrate with us, we recommend you fly into Portland International Jetport (PWM). [Please be careful not to mix up with Portland, Oregon] You can alternatively fly into Boston Logan International Airport and then drive a rental car or take the Concord Coach Line bus to Portland. Amtrack travels from Boston to Portland as well but does not depart from the airport.
Hotel
We will not be getting a hotel block. The wedding party will be staying at accommodations on House Island. Hotels in the Portland area can be pricy during the peak tourist season. If you know other parties coming to the wedding we recommend sharing an AirBnB/VRBO in Portland or South Portland. Otherwise, there are plenty of hotels in the area to choose from! Check out the "Map" tab to the right to see a layout, we recommend staying in either the Portland Peninsula, or for a little more suburban you can stay in South Portland or Cape Elizabeth. We polled the different hotels and AirBnBs to give you an idea of the cost, but we recommend making reservations ASAP as the availability will become scarce closer to the date.
Travel Note
Renting a car is a great idea if you plan to explore surrounding towns and areas of Maine while you are here! That being said it is not necessary to rent a car. Downtown Portland is very walkable and Uber/Lyft are plentiful!
