We are so excited to share this day with you and look forward to dancing the night away with all of our favorite people!
Our story starts in 2010. We were the newest servers at a restaurant in Wheat Ridge, CO and though we'd grown up only miles from each other and shared many of the same childhood friends, we hadn't met until then. As if a foreshadowing of many future (and present) interactions, our first conversation was an argument. The subject of our qualm was the definition of the word "chintzy." Of course, Brianna was right. That's how we became best friends and many friends around us guaranteed we'd get married someday. 4 years ago and completely out of nowhere, Conrad took a chance and told Brianna that he'd fallen in love with her and we have been together ever since! Apparently everyone was right ;-)
We had come down from Denver one weekend to look for places to live for our upcoming move to Colorado Springs. After a full day of home searching and coming up empty handed, we decided to get dinner downtown. The dinner was underwhelming and we were starting to feel the stress of the day and Brianna just wanted to go home but Conrad insisted that we go try a new ice cream place down near the new Atomic Cowboy. We decided to walk to the "ice cream shop" (it did not exist, Conrad just knows Brianna has a love for sweets) and along our way, we happened upon the construction sight of Atomic Cowboy, Conrad's new restaurant. He wanted to stop and look around, even though Brianna was so over it at that point. That's when Conrad got down on his knee, in a dirty parking lot of a dark construction site and asked her to be his wife. Brianna was surprised to say the least, but ultimately stammered out a "yes" and the rest is history!!
