FAQs

Here you can find answers to all your questions and some rules to keep in mind. If you still have questions or concerns after reading this page, you can contact the bride or groom at 850-225-7205 or 850-418-8597
Question

What's the alcohol situation?

Answer

Beer and wine only. Liquor strictly prohibited. Beer and wine will be supplied for approximately two drinks per person. You are welcome to bring your own, but absolutely no liquor allowed.

Question

Is smoking allowed on the property?

Answer

Nope. Smoking or vaping of any kind is not permitted on the property. Anyone caught smoking or vaping on the property will be liable to pay a $500 fine. If you need to smoke you must leave the property

Question

Is there a Dress Code?

Answer

We don't expect you to be dressed to death but it will be a classy event and photos will be taken throughout. You are not an exception. For our gentlemen some nice dress pants and dress shoes would do. Ladies you've got plenty of options, just please no white or cream colored dresses. We will be decorating with light spring colors, no need to worry about clashing with them. If you have questions, please contact the bride or groom.

Question

Can I explore the venue?

Answer

No one will stop you from exploring the property but it is highly recommended you don't leave the vicinity of the venue. The Glass & Canopy is on a large plot of land in the middle of nowhere. It can be easy to get lost and even harder to find your way back. Neither the venue or bride/groom are responsible for your disappearance. If you do wander and do get lost, it's recommended that you keep walking until you find a road. You'll get there eventually. Remember, cell service is nearly non-existant out there. If you're concerned about your kids, maybe put an airtag on them or something, idk.

Question

Is it an indoor or outdoor venue?

Answer

Both! We plan to make as much of the venue available as possible. Hopefully the weather will be good and you can be either outside or inside, but keep in mind it's Florida in early may. It might be warm, it might be cool, it might be wet, it might be dry. Be prepared for Florida weather. Ceremony is planned to be held outside with the reception a combination of both!

Question

Are pets allowed?

Answer

Unfortunately no, you cannot bring your pets. Unless it is a service animal and legally cannot be barred from the venue, your pets are not allowed. Please keep this in mind when planning your trip.

Question

What about wedding gifts?

Answer

With all due respect, we've been together for 10 years, living together for half that time. We do not need any more household items. Instead of bringing a gift, we ask that you consider donating to our Honeymoon Fund. There will be a box that you can contribute to at the venue as well as an option to donate on the website in the Registry page.

Question

What about plus ones?

Answer

Due to limited venue accommodation, if you have a plus one request that doesn't show on the invite page, please message groom or bride and we will see what we can arrange. Thank you!
