Question

When will I choose my meal options?

Answer

You will be able to select your menu options at the venue on the day of the wedding. We have recorded any dietary restrictions/kids meals as agreed with you separately.

Where should we stay?

Answer

We have reserved hotel rooms for guests to book in Fishkill, NY and Poughkeepsie, NY (20-40 mins drive from the venue). You can find details and links to book in the "Travel" page. You are of course free to stay wherever you like we are organizing shuttles to and from the hotels in Fishkill.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We have organized a shuttle from the hotel blocks in Fishkill, NY for the wedding. Note, the shuttle will NOT be going to the hotel block at the Holiday Inn Poughkeepsie. Schedule on Sunday, August 31 is as follows: 3:00PM - Buses arrive at the Courtyard Fishkill 3:15PM - Depart from Courtyard Fishkill 3:20PM - Arrive at Best Western Fishkill 3:25PM - Depart from Best Western Fishkill 4:00PM - Arrive at the Garrison After the wedding 10:15PM - Depart from the Garrison 10:45PM - Arrive at the Vinyl Room (After Party, 21+ only) 10:50PM - Depart the Vinyl Room (for those not going to the after party) 11:10PM - Arrive at the Best Western Fishkill 11:15PM - Depart the Best Western Fishkill 11:20PM - Arrive at the Courtyard Marriott END

What about transportation if I'm not staying at the hotel block?

Answer

If you are staying close to the Courtyard Marriott Fishkill or Best Western Fishkill, please walk to whichever hotel is closest and the bus will pick you up/drop you off. If you are not staying within walking distance to these hotels, you will need to organize your own transportation.

Will there be other events throughout the weekend?

Answer

Yes! We have planned a few events throughout the wedding weekend. These are shown in the “Schedule” tab, and you will be able to RSVP to these events through your invitation/on the RSVP tab.

Question

Isn't Monday, September 1 a holiday in the USA?

Answer

Yes! The day after our wedding (Monday, September 1) is a bank holiday in the USA (Labor Day). While many businesses may be closed, essential businesses such as groceries, pharmacies and gas stations should be open. Please contact a business directly if you have questions on their opening hours.
