We met attending Western Washington University (Go Viks!) in 2014. I (Conor) delayed taking my remaining Humanities credits and selected a Shakespeare 101 course in the hopes of finally graduating. Maddy was also enrolled in the same Shakespeare class. After performing some scenes from King Lear in separate groups, one day after class I sat next to Maddy on the bus home and introduced myself. The following quarter, to a surprise of us both, we were enrolled in the same biology course. On the first day of class, I walked in, saw Maddy, smiled and sat next to her. I sat next to Maddy every day that quarter and we became friends. At the end of the quarter, I finally graduated and moved back to Seattle, while Maddy had two more years left at Western Washington University. In 2016, Maddy moved to Shoreline to pursue pharmacy school at the University of Washington and I was quick to reach out to show her around the city. After 9 years and one loud, neurotic, and loving wiener dog later, we are finally here. We are so excited to celebrate with all of our loved ones! Cheers!
