We first met in middle school in Westhampton, MA when we were 12 (Conor) and 13 (Kendall). Little did we know that sharing a bus route and some similar taste in music would lead to the partnership we've built together over the years. We began formally dating during our junior year of high school, and got engaged on December 24, 2018.
When we were in middle school and high school, we both had envisioned having a SUPER informal wedding- we're talking t-shirts and jeans, no-tux-in-sight style wedding. Since that point our tastes have evolved (slightly, on occasion) and we recognize some importance in adhering to the formality of ceremonies and rituals. That being said, we have certainly taken some liberties to do things our own way on our special day. Some examples: -We will be walking down the aisle together, having had the "first look" before the ceremony itself, in order to symbolize the fact that we have already come together, and are already joined as partners- supporting each other for the past 8+ years -Our entrance song features Johann Pachelbel's Canon in D (shoutout to Frank and Joy Shea) as well as a beautiful piano cover of "Is That Alright" by Lady Gaga, from "A Star is Born" (which makes both Conor and Kendall tear up without fail) -Our good friend (and roommate for many years) Colin will be officiating our ceremony, something that we've all joked about for years
We understand that circumstances may not allow you to travel for our special day. Thankfully, technology has allowed us to include those who may not be able to attend. We simply want you to know that we would love for you to be there, but completely understand if you are not able.
