It's a tale as old as time. Two high school freshmen in the same Honors English class decide to "date." They attended the TWIRP (turnabout) dance as a couple that winter but sadly did not stay together much long after. The two remained friends throughout high school but had no idea what was in store for them after college. As fate would have it, the two would reconnect the summer after college while Erin was working the country music festival, LakeShake, that Conor was attending. The two talked and played bags (cornhole for our out-of-town friends) and while for Erin it was just two friends catching up, for Conor that was the start of forever. The two continued to flirt via Snapchat for a few months until Erin mustered up the courage to ask Conor to see Eric Church together, to which he responded by asking if his best friend Danny could also attend... At the concert, Erin invited Conor to another show the next weekend to see Dan + Shay, but emphasized that she only had one extra ticket. While singing their hearts out to "Keeping Score," the two shared a kiss that would kick off the greatest love story ever told. From that night, March 30, 2019, the two became inseparable, traveling to 24 states together, attending 65 concerts, moving from a one-bedroom apartment to owning a house, and everything in between. While decorating their new house for Christmas, Conor got down on one knee with a personalized ornament and proposed to Erin. He planned everything perfectly. Conor told her that his family always decorated for Christmas the Saturday after Thanksgiving and even mentioned that his mom would like a photo of them in front of the tree, which is why Erin was not at all surprised to see his phone set up on the counter. Erin's family had a tradition to be gifted a personalized ornament commemorating a milestone from that year and it was always her favorite part of Christmas morning. Combining two families' traditions and creating a new memory of their own, Conor was able to pull off the surprise of the century when he asked Erin to marry him. The two cannot wait to celebrate their love with you all and create many more traditions/memories to come.
