Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP online by September 1st, 2020.

Question

How are you responding to COVID-19?

Answer

In light of COVID-19, we wanted to let you know our wedding is going forward as planned. Please see the homepage of our webpage for more information. As much as we would love for you to join us, we completely understand if you have concerns regarding COVID-19 and choose to not attend in person. You can update your RSVP anytime on our site. We ask for your prayers if you are unable to join us in-person. For our out of state guests: there are currently no travel restrictions in VA, however as cases continue to rise, many states are implementing mandatory quarantines. We will continue to monitor the situation closely, and keep you notified of any changes to VA’s policy. For more information regarding Virginia Policies, visit the Virginia Department of Health Webpage here: https://bit.ly/2Pf3jn1 Please email Anna at annamweber98@gmail.com for further questions. We wish you health and safety during this difficult time.

Question

Are Face Masks required?

Answer

Face coverings will be required for those in attendance at the Wedding Mass in the church. Following the Mass, they are recommended for guests to wear both at the cocktail hour and reception dinner, unless eating or drinking. If you would like to only attend the Mass, you are welcome to do so, just mark it on your RSVP online. In addition, we will have masks and hand sanitizing stations located around the reception for all in attendance.  While we would love to celebrate with each and every one of you, we know that these unprecedented times create individual challenges beyond our control.
For those who feel uncomfortable or unsafe attending events at this time, we more than respect and truly understand that choice and invite you to celebrate with us virtually. We will live-stream the wedding mass, introductions, toasts and dances. Please see the VA Department of health webpage for more information: https://www.vdh.virginia.gov/coronavirus/cloth-face-covers/

Question

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire This is slightly less formal than black tie and black tie optional, which means no tux required for men and no floor-length gown required for women (unless you'd like to wear one, of course!) He should wear: A suit and tie. Lean toward darker hues in chillier months, and feel free to opt for lighter grays or blues in warmer weather. She should wear: A cocktail dress, dress or dressy suit or jumpsuit.

Question

What if my Guest's Name is not listed in the RSVP?

Answer

If you have a Plus One, their name will be listed, or it will read as "Guest of *your name*". Please email the name of your guest at annamweber98@gmail.com if your guest is currently listed as "Guest of". We truly wish we could include all of your Plus One's in the celebration, as any friend of yours is a friend of ours, but are unfortunately limited on space due to COVID-19.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered with Zola, but also with Target! Our Target Registry primarily has fun board games and home-decor items. The target registry link is tgt.gifts/annaandconor

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive 15-20 minutes before the mass begins at 2, and maintain a respectful silence in the church. Especially for our friends who do not share our faith, please see the FAQ's for communion guidelines.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes there is, please notate on your RSVP that you will be requiring a shuttle, and I will make sure we have room for you!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, we convert one of the pastures into a field for parking, and have experienced valets to park your car for your convenience! If you require handicap parking please let us know in the RSVP section so we can reserve a paved handicap space for you, close to the venue entrance.

Question

Can I receive Communion at Mass?

Answer

FOR OUR FELLOW CHRISTIANS We welcome our fellow Christians to this celebration of the Eucharist as our brothers and sisters. Because Catholics believe that the celebration of the Eucharist is a sign of the reality of the oneness of faith, life, and worship, members of those churches with whom we are not fully united are not admitted to Holy Communion. FOR NON-CHRISTIANS We also welcome to this celebration those who do not share our faith in Jesus Christ. While we cannot admit them to Holy Communion, we ask them to offer their prayers for the peace and the unity of the human family. FOR THOSE NOT RECEIVING HOLY COMMUNION All who are not receiving Holy Communion are encouraged to express in their hearts a prayerful desire for unity with the Lord Jesus and with one another.

Question

What if I received an invitation but was not able to RSVP online?

Answer

Check how the envelope was addressed and type it in exactly as it appeared in the mail. If that still does not work, email me at annamweber98@gmail.com and I’ll help you sort it out. I apologize in advance for any confusion!
