Question

Are pets allowed at the ceremony or reception?

Answer

As much as the bride and groom would love nothing more than to meet and play with your fluffy friends, the ceremony and reception sites have no-pets policies, so we kindly ask that you leave them at home or in your accommodations.

Can we bring our children/are kids allowed?

Answer

Although we adore and love your little ones, we have decided to proceed, outside the wedding party and immediate family, with a child-free ceremony and reception due to limitations on our venue among other factors. We appreciate your understanding and kindness.

Question

What is the dress code, and are there any colors you'd prefer guests to avoid?

Answer

Considering the time of year, location, and choice of venue, we encourage our guests to dress in comfortable, garden party formal, attire. This wedding will of course be happening at the height of the summer heat so we encourage all our guests to wear breathable fabrics and to avoid wearing black or very dark colors to avoid heat-related injuries. Groomsmen and the Groom will be wearing a beige and olive green colors so that would be best avoided.

How can guests get to the venue, and is there parking available?

Answer

There is ample parking available at both Saint Mary's Church and Laudholm Farm for guests to park their cars. The addresses of all important locations will be provided on the itinerary as well should guests wish to utilize ride-share or app-based car services to ferry them to the day's events.

Have you reserved hotel room blocks, and is there a shuttle to and from the hotel?

Answer

Due to the busyness of the season for the hospitality industry in the area many of the nearby hotels do not accommodate room blocks at the time of year of the wedding. However we were able to reserve room blocks at two locations, specifically the Holiday Inn Express and the Hampton Inn and Suites, both located in Wells. If you call to make a reservation at either location tell them you will be staying for the wedding and provide our names and they can share if any room remain. Otherwise, we encourage all guests who wish to spend the weekend or the night after the wedding to make reservations as soon as possible at any of the numerous available accommodations in the area. We have shared taxi service information on the site for transportation as there will not be a shuttle outside the wedding party.

Can guests take photos?

Answer

During the ceremony, while we understand guests' excitement and will allow photography, we would ask that guests be respectful and exercise discretion by avoiding using flash photography, blocking others, or obstructing walkways. However at the reception, not only can guests take photos, we encourage it! Please share in our joy and capture in pictures those moments that will help you remember the day!

What type of food will be served, and are there vegan, vegetarian, or gluten-free options and can guests let you know about any dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

Great question! We will be serving a variety of items, though the main event, dinner, will be catered by Fosters and will include a variety of shellfish, lobster, and sides with alternate chicken and vegetarian options. There will be space on the invitation to indicate a preference. We will strive to be as accommodating as possible, but please be sure to share any specific dietary restrictions as soon as possible so that we can be sure to have something for you!

Is there someone guests can contact if they have any other questions?

Answer

Absolutely. Prior to the day of the wedding, if guests have detailed or specific questions they need answered we welcome them to reach out to the groom, Conor LaSelva. The best point of contact for this would be via call, text, or voicemail at (207) 337-8044. For those that may not have communicated with the groom previously, a quick text indicating your name and question would be greatly appreciated!
