They have a paddle boat that you can ride from one resort to the other across the bay. Cool feature! If you don't mind a short drive, there are many hotels in Mission Valley. We refer to it as Hotel Circle - partially because there are many hotel options - and because the streets names are Hotel Circle North and Hotel Circle South. (Clever, right?) If you google lodging in Mission Vally or Hotel Circle hotels San Diego, you will find many to choose from - some at a much lower price point.
