When should I RSVP by?

Answer

If you're able to RSVP as soon as you receive your invitation, that would be extremely helpful! We ask that you RSVP before July 1st, 2026. After that, unfortunately, any unanswered invites will have to be marked as "Not Attending".

Please arrive at least 15–20 minutes before the ceremony begins.

Where should I stay?

Answer

For those traveling into town, there are many hotel options in Ottawa! The ceremony location and reception are a 25-30 minute drive apart. We recommend staying near the reception venue in Kanata for convenience after the celebration. We have reserved a hotel block at the Brookstreet Hotel that can be selected under the Travel section of the website. Is there parking available?

Yes, parking will be available at both the church and reception venue.

What do I wear?

Answer

We are requesting that guests wear formal attire! Indian attire is preferred, but Western attire is also welcome. For men, think kurtas or suits. For women: lehengas, sarees, or elegant dresses (midi-length or longer). There are no color requirements, but cooler tones (blues, purples, jewel tones) are preferred.

Is it ok to wear Indian attire if I am not Indian?

Answer

Absolutely, Indian attire is warmly welcomed! You don’t need to be Indian to wear it, and we’d love to see guests celebrate in traditional outfits.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we're only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they would appear under your name when you RSVP.

We will not be including children as part of this event, unless indicated otherwise on your RSVP.
