Zach and I met one random, unplanned January night! He was coming to Shreveport for a job interview on Monday, but his friend Gage convinced him to come into town a few days early. Being a Saturday night, my sister Ella was set on going out, while I was looking forward to a night on the couch. It took a lot of convincing... but we went out! We weren't out long, before Zach walked right up, and introduced himself. We ended up talking for the rest of the night. Like the gentleman he is, he asked Ella if he could take me on a date, and I somehow turned it into a double date with Ella and Gage! I was certain that would be the end of it (especially after Ella chowed down on quesadillas on his tab). But to my surprise, I got another text! We had our first official date when he moved to Shreveport on Valentines day. By the summer we were dating and admittedly falling in love. In November, Zach found out he had to move back to West Monroe for work, but we already knew we wanted to get married so we didn't let it phase us! The past three years have been a lot!... A lot of concerts, dinner dates, weekend trips to West Monroe! A lot of learning about sports (with very little retention). A lot of growing up and starting to making adult decisions. A lot of our own prayers and our parents prayers. And most importantly, a whole lot of love. We are so excited to welcome all of our friends and family to celebrate our love and commitment to each other. We are truly blessed and ready to see what married life has offer!
