Join us for a welcome drink?
Answer
We can’t wait to celebrate with you - so much so, we’re kicking off our festivities a day early on Thursday evening, April 30th. So if your travel plans include getting into town ahead of Friday, or if you’re a resident Madisonian, our wedding party and some family will be gathering at the top floor of Genna's Lounge from 7:30-10! Please feel welcome to come by and have a drink with us! It will be great to catch up and introduce you some of our other guests. There will be a cash bar available for drinks but Genna's does not provide food. Genna's is located at 105 W Main St, Madison, WI 53703.

Will there be a sit-down dinner?
Answer
No, we don't plan to have a designated time for everyone to sit down and eat at the same time. However, we will have plenty of food available at the reception with a range of dietary options including for those who are gluten free and vegetarian. If you have any further food restrictions please reach out and we will do our best to accommodate them. Please eat and sit whenever suits you best! We can't wait to be moving around and mingling with you all!

How do I get from the ceremony to the reception?
Answer
The ceremony is at the park across from our house! It will be about 30 minutes long. There are no public bathrooms at the park. Emergencies can be accommodated but please plan ahead! From the park is it a 15 minute walk or a 3 minute drive to the reception. There is free street parking at the park and a parking structure across the street from the Tinsmith if you prefer to drive!

What does the dress code "Upstage the Bride" mean?
Answer
We hope you wear something absolutely fabulous that makes you feel beautiful, chic, and show-stopping! We love a pattern, a ruffle, a sequin, a bold color, something tailored to perfection but if all else fails, dress to impress! If you need further guidance we've provided an inspiration board above. This event is the answer to the question, "But where would I wear something like this?"

We LOVE the kids in our lives but we are keeping this an adult only celebration. We thank you so much for understanding.
