What is the dress code?

Answer

We are asking guest to wear pastel Semi-Formal for the ceremony. Please do not wear anything that could be confused for white or ivory so please use your best judgement. Weather in April is unpredictable in Oregon with average temperatures ranging from 45-62 and average rainfall being 22/30 days of the month.

Why Oregon?

Answer

We got engaged on our first road trip to Oregon and it became one of our favorite places in the world. With our families from all over the country (and some coming internationally) there was not an easy location to choose from so we went with our favorite location instead.

Why on a Tuesday?

Answer

Some guest are driving and we wanted to give as much time as possible to travel. Our bachelor/bachelorette parties are the night before so Tuesday just worked best (and it was the cheapest day of the week)

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Only guest that have been given a direct invitation are able to come to the ceremony or reception due to venue restrictions.

Where should we stay?

Answer

We have a cottage at Turtle Rock RV Resort in Gold Beach, Oregon and would love some neighbors. We originally stayed at Rogue Landing resort and enjoyed it. There are also plenty of good options in Brookings, Oregon which is where the ceremony will be held.

What to do outside of the wedding?

Answer

We recommend exploring the surrounding areas. There is so much to see and enjoy between Crescent City, Brookings and Gold Beach. Depending on what kind of trip you want to take there are beautiful redwood hiking trails, gorgeous beaches, jet boat tours, fishing charters. We recommend to check out Kissing Rock beach to see where we got engaged and Natural Bridges which is known for its breath taking views.
