Question

What restrictions are in place because of COVID-19?

Answer

With vaccines on the rise, we are looking good! We are at full capacity with both church and venue. Masks are optional in both spaces. Everyone is encouraged to make whatever decision they are comfortable with in regards to wearing masks.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

If your invitation includes “and family” then yes, they are welcome!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation, when it is sent out, says ‘and guest,’ then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you. If you have any questions or clarifications, please reach out!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the ceremony mass?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. There is a large parking lot at the church that will be utilized for the ceremony mass. For our out of town family and friends who would like to attend the ceremony mass but have no means of getting there, please reach out so we can help accommodate a way for you to be there with us!

Question

Is there a shuttle to and from the hotel and reception?

Answer

Yes, please check out our Travel and Accommodations page for all of the information you need.

Question

When do I have to book the hotel room by in order to get the block rate?

Answer

May 20th! There is a grace period of a couple days after that, but make sure to call and check with the hotel.

Question

What days are available to book hotel rooms through the block?

Answer

The block rate is for both Friday, June 25th and Saturday, June 26th. Both nights are not required but are optional for anyone coming from out of town who needs a 2 night stay.

Question

What time is check in at the hotel and is there early check in available?

Answer

Check in begins at 3pm the day your reservation begins. Early check in can be requested, availability permitting. If not, guests can leave their belongings by the front desk while they go up to the ceremony mass until they get back for check in at 3pm.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Black tie optional. Formal tuxes and long gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.

Question

Do I have to attend both the ceremony mass and reception?

Answer

The more, the merrier! We would love and welcome you to attend the ceremony mass to see us be officially married for the first time, but not required. We understand our guests have their own unique situations and ask you to do whatever works best with you.

Question

What can I do in the gap of time between the ceremony mass and reception if I plan on attending both?

Answer

Surprisingly, there isn’t as much time as you might think! The ceremony is a mass which normally takes longer than one without. The mass will end around 3-3:30pm. The church is about 30 minutes away from the hotel where then check ins can take place. The shuttle will start running at 5-5:30pm at the hotel for cocktail hour that begins at 6pm!

Question

What is a detailed timeline of events for any needed clarification?

Answer

The ceremony mass starts at 2:00pm on Saturday. The mass will run to about 3-3:30pm where our guests can then go to the hotel to check in. Early check in can be requested for out of town guests who are only staying Saturday night and plan on attending the ceremony mass. Ideally, our guests will drive themselves or Uber directly to the church and then drive to the hotel after the ceremony mass where their cars will be parked for the remainder of our wedding weekend. Once guests are checked in, a shuttle will start running from about 5-5:30pm to start taking everyone to the cocktail hour that begins at 6pm. The reception will be from 6pm-11pm. Starting at 11pm, shuttles will be available to take guests back to the hotel. There is an after party at the hotel bar for anyone who wants to attend from 11pm-1:30am for some extra fun!
