This small city has become a hugely popular destination for hikers, mountain bikers, artists, spiritual seekers, and anyone who finds joy and rejuvenation in natural wonders. Fun fact - Connor spent all of his summers here growing up!
A bit further north (about 4 hours one way) sits one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Just as breathtaking as it is vast, the Grand Canyon is a perfect sightseeing trip for those seeking adventure, stunning natural beauty, and a chance to connect with history and the environment.

As the former home of Frank Lloyd Wright, Scottsdale's Taliesin West provides the opportunity to tour the creativity of the residence Wright built in 1938. His influence is still seen all around the surrounding area – most notable are the spire that sits on the northwest corner of the Promenade shopping center and ASU Gammage in nearby Tempe. Additionally, the gallery and studio of Wright's former student, Italian-American architect Paolo Soleri, called Cosanti, is located just a few minutes away in Paradise Valley and is open to the public. For more art experiences, the world-renowned art galleries in Old Town Scottsdale, the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, and Western Spirit: Scottsdale's Museum of the West are great in-town options.
With many luxury stores and destination dining, Scottsdale Fashion Square (Rosie's favorite place to shop) is just down the street from all recommended hotel accommodations. For a local shopping experience, the Old Town Scottsdale Shoppes feature an array of fun stores, galleries and restaurants.
