Here are some recommended places to stay. If you have any questions or are looking for places in specific neighborhoods, feel free to text us! We're always happy to give out ideas for fun things to do in the city.

Hotel

Park South Hotel - JDV by Hyatt

124 East 28th Street, New York, NY 10016

This is a great option for those who want to explore Manhattan. It's accessible by subway and Uber/Lyft/Taxi to both Pete's Candy Store and Brooklyn Grange at Sunset Park. It's also Colleen's go-to hotel when visiting the city. Located in Gramercy Park, you have access to all of Manhattan, but especially Union Square, Koreatown, and Flatiron. You can also easily get to Brooklyn or Queens. Our favorite spots nearby are: S+P Lunch (old-fashioned lunch counter), Fish's Eddy (iconic home goods), Poster House Museum (great museum and A+ gift shop), Irving Coffee, Teddy Roosevelt's Birthplace (museum)

Hotel

The Penny Williamsburg

288 North 8th Street, Williamsburg, NY 11211

This is a great option for people who want to explore Brooklyn. It's a 2 minute walk to Pete's Candy Store and McCarren Park, and it's accessible by subway or Uber/Lyft/Taxi to Brooklyn Grange Sunset Park. You have quick access to Manhattan via the L train. Located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, this hotel is close to Greenpoint and Bushwick, which both have tons of fun things to do. It's also near some of our favorite places to eat in New York. Highlights are: Birria-Landia (life-changing Mexican food truck), Talea Beer Company Cafe Mogador (Moroccan food), and Kellogg's Diner.
