We're getting married!

After only two weeks of us dating, I was on vacation with my mom, sister, and Chris & Tessa Rutledge's family. We were at Myrtle Beach for the 4th of July. Tuesday night Connor jokingly texted my mom saying "what if I came down to surprise her." After mom telling him to ask me about it so I could ask my dad to make sure, he called me and asked me about it. I thought it was all a joke. I then called dad (after a full 24 hours of working up the confidence because I for sure thought it would be NO) and he said he was fine with it as long as Chris was okay with it since he was "the dad on duty." When I got the surprising yes from him, there was so much joy. After work on Thursday, Connor left immediately and headed down on the 10 hour road trip. Once he arrived at 4am, we had an amazing 3 days together on the beach! We all so grateful for the such great/ adventurous memory to look back on! <3

We were spending Christmas with all our family at Grandma Lori's. Sadly his mom & brother had to leave early due to a snow storm starting and they had a 6 hour drive home so they missed it but were meant to be there. After presents we were starting to take family photos. Jen tried to make us go first which was out of order so I knew something was up, there is pictures to prove that I didn't believe that there was some type of set up going on. Right then, Connor got down on one knee with everyone we loved around. It was the easiest "YES" I have ever said! I was the happiest person ever then, but Papa Dave was almost just as excited!
