YES! We are reserving a wedding block at the Westin Sacramento Riverfront Hotel. Just ask for the Mc Loughlin wedding block when you call to book a room to receive a discount.

Where to Park?

Answer

Please make sure to arrive to the venue with plenty of time to find parking and then cross the street to the zoo. Parking is available across from the zoo entrance on 15th Ave. The entrance to 15th Ave. is beside "Fairytale Town" and there is ample parking for all guests in this area. The parking is FREE on this street! There is also parking available on the street on both sides of W. Land Park Dr. which is where the entrance to the zoo is located. We have added an aerial image of the parking locations on the "Gallery" Tab of this website.

Is the venue indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception are outdoor with some shaded areas. Weather in May is expected to be warm.

What animals live at the Sacramento Zoo?

Answer

The Sacramento Zoo houses a variety of animals including lions, leopards, tortoises, giraffes, rhinos, zebras, meerkats, red pandas, monkeys, parrots, owls, and many more! The bride's favorites include the giraffes, sloths, and frogs. The groom's favorites include the laughing kookaburras, axolotls, and thick-billed parrots.
