Masks are required when indoors. Please look at this document for more detail on getting to Hawaii: https://docs.google.com/document/d/17yA_O1bgziSCxPEHou3_AxE6n6SrSuUC58R9pYzPdQk/edit?usp=sharing

Question

COVID 19 Plan

Answer

At this time (1/4/2022) there are no capacity limits on outdoor events, including weddings. Vaccines are not required for outdoor events and masks are not required outdoors. We fully plan on getting married in Maui on 3/26/2022 and are not changing the date or the plans. We understand with rising Omicron cases that there is concern for COVID infections. We don't want to force anyone to travel to Hawaii they are not comfortable with COVID infections. Please do what is best for you and your family during the Pandemic, whether that is traveling or staying home.

Question

How does the shuttle service work?

Answer

We will be working with a shuttle service to provide transportation for everyone from our condos/hotels to Gannon's around 4:15pm, and then from Gannon's back to our condos/hotels at 10pm when the reception ends. We will need to know if you would like to be on the shuttle service AND where you are staying (condo/hotel/house etc) by February 1st - you will be able to RSVP for the shuttle service when you are RSVPing for the ceremony. Once we know how many people would like to have a shuttle we will coordinate a pick-up schedule to pick up everyone from their condos and drive to Gannon's. We will provide more information on the shuttle once we have the numbers of who would like a shuttle! The shuttle service is completely optional, if you'd prefer to drive yourself there is free and ample parking at Gannon's.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Due to the wide range of accommodations available on the island, we will not be having a standard hotel room block. The wedding will be held in Wailea, but there are many vacation rentals available in Kihei, approximately 15 minutes from the venue. Us and our families will be staying in different vacation rentals in Kihei that were booked through AirBnB and VRBO. AirBnB: https://www.airbnb.com/ VRBO: https://www.vrbo.com/ Marriott Maui: https://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/hnmmc-wailea-beach-resort-marriott-maui/ Days Inn: https://www.wyndhamhotels.com/days-inn

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP if you will be able to attend, note your dinner preference and let us know if you would like to have a shuttle service to and from the venue by 2/1/2022

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:45pm on the grassy knoll of Gannon's Restaurant. If you are arriving by yourself, you will see a parking lot on the left-hand side and the ceremony set up on the grassy knoll. If you are arriving by the shuttle service, you will get there right on time!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please note in your RSVP what your allergy or food preference is and we will communicate it with the restaurant. We will have a vegetarian option available and you can select that when you RSVP.
