Caddy-corner from The Plaza Hotel, San Jacinto Plaza has been a city landmark since 1858. The park was once famous for its live alligators in the center of the plaza, which has since been replaced with a sculpture that honors its unique history.

Scenic Drive runs along the Franklin Mountains and offers amazing views of El Paso and Juárez. On Sundays, it’s closed to cars, making it the perfect spot for a walk with borderland views.
Southwest University Park is home to the El Paso Chihuahuas, our AAA baseball team for the San Diego Padres! While they’ll be away in Albuquerque that weekend, you can still walk by the beautiful ballpark downtown and check out where the Locomotive FC soccer team plays as well.
