One of our favorite places to go shopping, especially if it doesn't look like a good beach day! There are lots of outlet stores and a few restaurants. Kittery Trading Post is a must there!
We love going to Portsmouth when we have a free afternoon or evening! Portsmouth has a cute downtown with shops to explore. Our favorite places for food and drinks are The Friendly Toast (for brunch), Mr. Wish (bubble tea), Flatbread Co. (pizza), and Portsmouth Brewery (dinner and drinks). We also love exploring the parks and going for picnics!
This is one of our favorite quick, family friendly hikes. You can park at the bottom and take a 40 minute hike to the top or you can even drive to the top! This peak has the best 360 degree view, you can see the Maine coastline, the White Mountains and more!
Our venue looks right out to Nubble Lighthouse, but you can go for a trip to get a sneak peak and experience quintessential Maine! There is a decently sized parking lot, picnic tables and rocks to climb. In the same parking lot is a Lobster Roll stand as well!
Across from both Stones Throw and Anchorage Inn is Long Sands Beach. It is over a mile long and is a great place to relax and play for pre- or post- wedding fun!
A Guthrie family favorite--If you want to enjoy lobster this is your no-frills place! Come with a group, enjoy their huge yard with fire pits, horseshoes, bocce, and cornhole.
This is a York Classic with a cafe, cooking classes, and store. We love walking around the store, tasting the jams, sauces, and dips as well as picking some items to bring home!
Literally the best bread ever. They have sweet and savory breads for everyone's preference. Warning: It won't stay in the house for long, we have been known to finish a loaf in 24 hours!
