Michael grew up near Clearwater, FL, but spent his whole life visiting his father's family on the North Shore of Long Island before moving to New York City for college and law school. After law school, Michael took a job at a Boston-based law firm, Ropes & Gray, to work in their Washington, DC office.
Connor spent his life on the North Shore of Long Island before moving to Boston for college. Two weeks before Michael and Connor met in January 2020, Connor's parents closed on a house in Lakewood Ranch, FL -- 40-minutes from Michael's childhood home.
Connor and Michael each moved to Washington, DC in the summer of 2019, and met soon after. Early dates were filled with realizations of the many places they shared and the ways their lives connected. Three years later, they've built a life together with their dog, Scooby, but one thing has never changed: being together feels like home.
August: This is Connor and Michael's first picture together, taken August 1 2020. This was the first time since meeting that the two could join their friends for a drink outside due to the pandemic.
Dating in Covid: Unable to go on dates typical of a new relationship, the two spent the early months of their relationship (and the pandemic) indoors, with date-night at home and a lot of Top Chef.
Meet the Family: In late summer, Connor & Michael finally had the chance to meet - and be warmly welcomed into - each other's families.

Friends in Town: Almost after a year together, Connor & Michael also began to meet each other's friends from college.

New Years Day: Connor & Michael spent their first New Years together in Florida.

This is our place, we make the rules: Connor, Michael, and Scooby moved in together in August of 2022.
Proposal: On April 14, 2023, Michael proposed to Connor in St. Petersburg. The two were then joined by friends and family to celebrate. Join us back in St. Pete on March 23, 2024 for the wedding!
