Long story short... We met at the gym! Long story longer, the Lord orchestrated the perfect time in both of our lives for the two of us to come together. We had heard a lot about one another through mutual friends for years prior to meeting. We had been at the same events, engagement parties, and seemingly always crossing paths but never meeting. It wasn't until June of 2021 that we officially met for the first time. We were both attending a gym class when our mutual friend Hollie introduced us. Right at that moment, Marin knew she was going to spend her entire life with him, but wasn't quite sure how that was going to work out. Early in the morning, Connor is in a "work hard/not so social" mood for each workout, whereas Marin is there to have fun and chat with the ladies! Needless to say it took a little time until we would chat more than just a couple of words to one another. After the wedding of our great friends, we started to hangout a little bit and feelings started to form. Weeks later, Connor asked Marin out on a date and of course she said yes! We went on a bike ride and dinner at Twigs (our favorite spot). It was perfect, simple, and exactly who we are. This story is filled with the goodness and faithfulness of the Lord, with many trials and so many more moments of joy. Thank you Jesus for all your provisions this year and the years to come.

After a morning workout and lunch at their favorite spot (Twigs). The happy couple went on a walk to a place that overlooks Spokane. Connor held Marin's hand, leading her down a little path which soon revealed flower petals, candles, and a blanket. He got down on one knee and asked if she would marry him? YES, of course she would! Following that, they spent time praying with one another and snapping some pictures to mark the moment, then went back to Marin's parents house for an engagement party! So many family members, friends, and relatives all came into town to celebrate this special occasion. It was the sweetest day filled with love, celebration, and the faithfulness of the Lord. We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you! See you in Chelan!
