Marie would not know where she would be without the love and support of her best friend Kayla throughout the time they have known each other since high school! Since their friendship began, they were each other's support system through all the ups and downs of college and life. No matter where Marie is working or traveling, Kayla is always there for her. Whether it's making a therapeutic Target run, cooking dinner, facetiming, or binge-watching their favorite TV show, they are attached at the hip for life (oh, and I guess Connor, too)!
Elena Petkova

Elena and Marie transferred to Cornell in their sophomore year and were selected as random roommates. They bonded quickly through their love of bubble tea, discussing the importance of composting in the room (it surprisingly did not smell as much as Marie feared), and weekly Love Island and beer tasting evenings. They have traveled together to New York and Atlanta, and Marie hopes to visit Elena in San Francisco after the pandemic. Marie could not imagine this big day without Elena by her side!
Emily King

Marie and Emily are a fiery duo as Queen and King (pun intended!) They met through Cornell Greek life when Marie joined Alpha Chi Omega. Emily stood out to Marie quickly as someone she looked up to in the organization and as a person she felt most connected to. Emily is known as her "big", a close sister within AXO and a friendship she cherishes for making her time in school special. Emily is the big sister Marie never knew she needed and can't live without!
Cristina Pinheiro
Bridesmaid
Better known as Pastina to Marie, Cristina came into Marie's life her junior year. Cristina joined Alpha Chi Omega after transferring to Cornell as well, and became Marie's "little", thus making Emily, Marie and Cristina a "lin"! Marie is grateful to have Cristina in her life and feel like a big sister and be there for Cristina no matter what. Marie is thrilled that she has been able to see Cristina in her senior year as Marie has come back to Ithaca more often than planned due to the pandemic.
Perry Loveridge
Best Man
Perry and Connor met their freshman year at Cornell when they joined the same fraternity. His spirit is as strong as the roots of his hair that support his luscious locks. On the weekends you’ll find Perry and Connor doing anything outdoors. Perry is an avid climber and lives in Boston with Connor, Marie and his wonderful girlfriend Taina.
Duncan McAllister

Connor’s younger brother, Duncan, grew up smaller than his older brother but one day ate some magic beans and sprouted into a scary-looking Marine. He just got back from Japan and is currently living in North Carolina.
Patrick Wiggers
Groomsman
Marie's older brother, Patrick, is a wonderful, funny, and sassy person we both have come to love so much! Although Marie and Patrick have known each other their whole lives, they became much closer when Marie and Connor traveled to Oahu for work in Summer 2019. Spending so much time with Patrick was a blessing and has brought them to be closer than they have ever been. Best brother ever!
Togo Tamura

Togo and Connor met their freshman year at Cornell and were roommates during their sophomore year, living in Llenroc together. Togo is an amazing chef, Hotelie and friend. Togo also became a great mentor for Marie as she began working at the hotel on campus. He now lives in Tokyo, Japan.
Josh Lin
Groomsman
We argued over whether Josh would be wearing a bridesmaid dress or a groomsmen suit to the wedding but Connor lucked out. Josh and Connor became close in Llenroc as Josh took over after him as president, and Marie and Josh ran both a marathon and a restaurant together as part of their Establishment Night in the Hotel School. Josh now lives in Chicago.
