FAQs

Question

Are children invited to the wedding festivities?

Answer

As much as we love kids, we want to keep this party to the 21 & up crowd.

Question

When should we book overnight accommodations?

Answer

As soon as you can! Monroe is a picturesque little town so naturally, couples flock to the area to take their vows. That said, overnight accommodations are sparse and in high demand. If you're the "party all night" type, we recommend getting an Airbnb or VRBO in town right away. Additionally, there are several hotels in Covington and nearby Bethlehem. For additional information, please visit the "Accomodations" section of our website.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Officially, it’s formal but "elevated garden party" is the best way we can describe it. For ladies, think tea-length and full-length dresses, floral patterns, light, bright, flowy, romantic, etc. As for the gentlemen, a suit and tie will do the trick! Colors, colors, colors! :)

Question

What kind of weather can be expected?

Answer

Early May is a gorgeous time of year in Monroe, with the average daily temperature being 70°. Keep in mind that sunny afternoons may get quite warm as the average high is 81° but as the sun goes down, the evenings can drop into the mid-50s. There is a rain plan in place should the weather be less than ideal, although we surely hope that isn't the case!
