FAQs

The Wedding Website of Lauren Jordan and Connor Jacobson
Question

What days should we fly in and out of Denver?

Answer

We want to spend as much time with you as possible. We encourage you to fly in prior to Wednesday July 8th, or Wednesday morning/early afternoon. This would allow you to join us at our welcome dinner. We will share one last toast together on Friday, July 10th before we flutter away as newlyweds. We would love for you to stay until Friday late afternoon so we can say goodbye at brunch. It is up to you and your party if you'd like to extend your stay in beautiful Colorado.

Question

What time should we arrive to the venue?

Answer

Our venue is a public conservatory. They will close to the public at 5 PM, which then will allow for ceremony setup. Please show up no later than 5:00 PM, as there is a waiting area for you to store your belongings and wait for doors to open.

Question

Is there parking at the ceremony venue?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of parking outside of the venue if you are traveling with a car.

Question

Are pictures/videos allowed during the ceremony?

Answer

We would appreciate all of our guests to be present in the moment. We kindly ask that you refrain from photos/videos during the ceremony. We have hired a photographer to capture the moment and will share these with you afterward. The venue is breathtaking, and you are destined to fall in love with the surroundings. Prior to the ceremony beginning, you can take pictures and/or videos.

Question

Is there preferred colors to wear?

Answer

The conservatory is gorgeous and full of color. We would prefer for you to wear any color other than white, neon colors, or black. Ladies- think sundresses with floral patterns, or bright colors. Men- think button up dress shirts, with some nice slacks. We are going to be in a living rainforest, so breathable attire in encouraged. Bring a jacket for the reception that follows.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

We did it! We are so lucky to have you here. Once our ceremony concludes, we will leave the venue and head to our reception spot. This is not in the same building, so you will need to drive about 15 minutes to the next location.

Question

Is there a wedding registry?

Answer

Your presence is our gift. If you're insistent on a gift, we would appreciate a donation to our honeymoon fund which can be done via Venmo or Zelle.

Question

Will we be able to look around the museum/conservatory?

Answer

We are getting married in a separate area of the conservatory. You will not have access to all the incredible invertebrate and interactive centers. We do highly encourage you to visit during your stay as it is a pretty neat spot.

Question

What can I do with my free time?

Answer

We have built each guest party a personalized itinerary based on what we think you'd love! You can find this in your welcome bag upon arrival! If you need ideas in advance, ask Lauren!
