Yosemite National Park
We LOVE a National Park and this one in particular is very special to Connor and his family. Connor took Kristen to Yosemite for the first time in September. This was when we decided to share this place with all of our people and get married right outside the park in the gorgeous Sierra National Forest.
Yosemite Valley
While there are many amazing sites to take in within the Park, Yosemite Valley is definitely one of the most popular spots for visitors. Nestled at the center of the park, about 1 and a half hours of driving if staying in Oakhurst, it is the perfect spot to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the Yosemite and take in the spectacular views of Half Dome and El Capitan.
Glacier Point
Glacier Point, an overlook with a commanding view of Yosemite Valley, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls, and Yosemite’s high country, is accessible by car from approximately late May through October or November. Please check the NP website for information on round closures and assessibilty when plannig your trip. Fun Fact: Connor has tried to hike to this destination 4 times and the weather has never been on his side.
