In case the Dahlonega Resort & Vineyard is booked, we also highly recommend The Smith House. This historic hotel is a staple in Dahlonega, GA. Just steps away from charming shops, cafés, bars, & the town square and in the heart of downtown Dahlonega. This hotel is just a brisk 20-minute ride to KC Bison Ranch. Rooms are limited, so we suggest reserving early!

There are many Airbnbs and cabin rentals in the area as well. Stay the weekend and enjoy the mountains and vineyards!

Flight

Atlanta Airport or Chattanooga Airport

Traveling from Out of Town? If you're flying in, the closest airport is Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL)—about a 1 hour and 20 minute drive to downtown Dahlonega. Alternatively, you can fly into Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport (CHA), which is the next closest option and roughly a 1 hour and 40 minute drive to Dahlonega. Either way, we recommend renting a car to enjoy the scenic drive and explore the area at your own pace!
