Guests are encouraged to wear formal attire. We recommend comfortable footwear so that you enjoy the gardens and grounds with ease. Per Villa Terrace’s request, please refrain from wearing glittery garments, as they may shed onto museum furniture and floors.

Is there parking at Villa Terrace?

Answer

There is no designated parking at Villa Terrace. Free street parking is available in the surrounding neighborhood. You may also consider carpool, Uber, or Lyft when possible.

Why should I arrive to the ceremony early?

Answer

Arriving 30 minutes early helps ensure a smooth and relaxed start to the day. You'll have time to park, settle in, enjoy a welcome drink, take in the beautiful surroundings, and enjoy live music from the string quartet—all before the ceremony begins. Your early arrival also helps us start on time without interruptions.

Will the wedding be outside?

We anticipate a full day outdoors—en plein air! We’re hoping for summer sunshine and mild temperatures to make the most of the beautiful setting. The museum is air-conditioned if you need a cool retreat. Rest assured, we have backup plans in place should the weather not cooperate.

It's only natural to celebrate our next chapter surrounded by the same sunlight, greenery, and open skies that have been the backdrop to so many of our favorite moments together.

Why is the wedding adults-only?

We love your little ones, but we’re keeping the celebration adults-only. We’ve chosen to host an intimate, child-free wedding to create a more relaxed atmosphere for all guests—and to fully enjoy the setting, the ceremony, and the evening festivities. We hope this gives you a chance to enjoy a night off and celebrate with us!
