Is there a dress code?
Answer
We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress to impress in your best semi-formal attire (bridal party will be in light pink). Feel free to bring a pair of cowboy/cowgirl BOOTS for dancing later into the evening + the Buffalo Chip. The Barn has matted gravel floors (dance floor is hardtop).

IS THE WEDDING INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?
Answer
Ceremony will be held indoors at the church. Cocktail hour will be outside and the reception will be inside a barn with full coverage. Average weather in April is high of 79° / 54°.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us and use this evening as a date night!

Can I bring a date?
Answer
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name name when RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Bus / Transportation
Answer
Please RSVP if you would like to use the provided transportation and # of seats required. There will be a bus from the ceremony (church) to the barn (reception). NOTE: You cannot leave your car at the church after the ceremony. Please Uber, Lyft or get dropped off if you plan to use bus transportation. There will be a bus from barn (reception) to Buffalo Chip (stop 1), and then to Hampton Inn in Cave Creek (Stop 2) after the reception.

Desert Foothills Barn (Reception) Directions
Answer
From Scottsdale Road and Jomax Road – go west on Jomax. About 1/3 mile down, you will see some big water tanks on the right. Just after you pass those, the entrance will be on your left. **Look for a yellow iron coyote. If you get to 69th Street, you have gone slightly too far. Once you make the turn at the coyote, you will go through an open gate and follow the road back a decent ways until you run right into the Barn.

Parking (Church & Reception)
Answer
Please note that cars cannot be left at the church after the ceremony. Kindly plan accordingly. If you choose to take your own car to Desert Foothills Barn (reception), valet parking from the venue is complimentary. Desert Foothills has a locked gate when there is no staff on property, so if you wish to leave a vehicle overnight, your vehicle will be parked just outside the gate to be picked up in the morning. If you'd like to drive your car to the reception and take the bus back to Cave Creek, you will have to get your car the following morning at the barn.

How close is Cave Creek to Scottsdale/ Phoenix?
Answer
Cave Creek is about 45/55min north of Scottsdale / Phoenix. We recommend staying in Cave Creek, Carefree or very north Scottsdale/ Phoenix (north of Jomax Rd) if possible to save yourself a far drive post wedding.
