In the summer of 2022, we both swiped right on Bumble. Our first date happened at Llewelyn's Pub in Webster Groves. Following a great conversation, a timid kiss happened in the parking lot and a second date was secured. Many dates, and adventures and misadventures later, a relationship bloomed. Life happened, and the bond grew stronger. While on a float trip in 2024, a group in the raft nearby was telling a dramatic story. Gina uttered "Paddle Closer" which was quickly followed by "I'm trying!". Gina and Connor adopted this as a motto for humorous moments, but also their relationship. Gina and Connor got engaged at Ramsay's Restaurant overlooking the Skyline of St. Louis on February 15, 2025. We hope you will join us and #PaddleCloser.
