Flight
Redmond Municipal Airport (RDM) is conveniently located about 25 minutes drive from downtown Bend. You may find that flying into Portland (PDX) is cheaper, but be sure to consider that it is a 3 hour drive to Bend and will likely require a car rental.
Travel Note
If you plan on spending more than just the weekend in Bend or are flying into Portland, you should plan on renting a car. Likewise, if you would like to explore Cascade Lakes Highway, Smith Rock State Park, or beloved Mt. Bachelor these areas are not far from town but will be much easier to access having your own transportation. If you are just in town for a few days and you are staying in Bend, we will be providing transportation to and from the venue for the ceremony and Ubers/Lyfts are easily available for getting around town. While the ceremony is located in Sisters only 30 minutes from Bend, Uber and Lyft services are not readily available in that area (which is why we are having the shuttle service to/from the wedding).
Travel Note
If flying into Redmond (RDM), ride shares such as Uber and Lyft are readily available to call when you land and bring you to your lodging. The prices can vary depending on time but we notice that Lyft can often be slightly cheaper. EnviroShuttle is a local company that offers airport shuttle services both locally and to/from the Portland airport. If flying into Redmond, their rates to get you into town run roughly $53-71 depending on how many people are riding together. Spaces are limited so if you would like to use their services, consider booking in advance. They also have the ability to pick up from Portland Airport (PDX) and bring you to Bend but that will cost anywhere from $275-410 again depending on how many people, so it may be cheaper to rent a car.
