We’re getting married!

We went to Oakland High School together and knew of each other, but never met. I graduated in 2013, Connor graduated in 2012. At MTSU in 2014, we officially met at an AGR party (Connor was in AGR) and invited me to the party with a few of my friends. We met and danced together that night and have been together ever since. The next weekend was Valentines Day and Connor sent me flowers and a card “anonymously” 😂. Another week later he asked me on an official date to Marinas on the square. We talked everyday and hung out together every weekend for a couple of months and on April 29, 2014 decided to make it an official relationship! Almost 6 years later on Feb. 14, 2020 Connor proposed to me in a field on his parent’s farm in a wooded area that he had set up with string lights and our initials carved in the tree. He drove me back to the area and made up some excuse about how he needed to show me something. Then he pulled the ring out of the tree that he had hidden. His lifelong friend Lance (also my distant cousin) was secretly taking photos the whole time. After he proposed, he cooked the best dinner for me with a glass of wine and we celebrated together for the night, just the two of us living in the moment! (Of course we facetimed people all night of the news☺️) We are blessed!
