For all the history aficionados we recommend checking out Independence Mall, the founding place of our country.  Sites include Independence Hall where the Declaration of Independence was signed, the liberty bell, constitution center, the Betsy Ross house, Ben Franklin's grave, and more. 

Foodies must check out Reading Terminal Market. For the Minnesotans, it reminds me of the food building at the state fair. So many good things to eat and drink in there with something for everyone.

You have all heard the big debate of Pat's versus Geno's, but may we recommend our favorite cheesesteak place in the area at Mama's Pizzeria in Bala Cynwyd!
