Things To Do

Nashville is the vibrant capital of Tennessee, known for its deep roots in country music, the Grand Ole Opry, and legendary honky-tonks along Broadway. It also has a diverse landscape outside of the city for adventure seekers. Corinne has had the opportunity to live here for almost 4 years and is thrilled to share some Nashville favorites, hidden gems, and other things to do the weekend of our wedding!

Broadway

Broadway

Broadway, Nashville, TN

Welcome to Nash Vegas! Don't worry, what happens here, stays here, kind of. Make sure to pack your boots and get ready for some neon lights, live bands in every honky-tonk, and great people-watching, should you choose to go down this dangerously fun strip! Our favorites downtown include The Stage, Robert's Western World, Friends In Low Places, Morgan Wallen's This Bar, Casa Rosa, and Jason Aldean's/ Luke Bryan's. If you're into the Speakeasy vibe, be sure to take a trip to the underground at Pushin' Daisies, right next to the Twelve Thirty Club, which is also a great place for food and drinks. For karaoke and bull riding, Wild Beaver Saloon will rock your world. Not too far from that is Bourbon Street Blues & Boogie Bar in Printer's Alley.

Local Breweries, Dive Bars, & Distilleries

Local Breweries, Dive Bars, & Distilleries

The city is packed with craft breweries, from the bold IPAs at Bearded Iris to the laid-back vibes of Tennessee Brew Works and Southern Grist’s creative sours. If you’re after character, Nashville’s dive bars deliver - places like M. L. Rose, Santa’s Pub, and the red-lit Robert’s Western World offer cheap drinks, live music, and plenty of local flavor. Fun fact, we ended our very first date at none other than Neighbor's Sylvan Park - another great dive bar in the area! For something stronger, Nashville’s distilleries showcase Tennessee’s rich whiskey tradition, with spots like Nelson’s Green Brier and Corsair offering tours, tastings, and small-batch spirits. Whether you’re into crisp local beer, a no-frills bar stool, or smooth Tennessee whiskey, Nashville has the perfect pour waiting.
