Philadelphia International Airport (PHL)

Philadelphia International Airport is one option for convenient arrival points for our guests who are needing to fly in. It’s located approximately 102 miles / ~1.5–2 hours by car from Hershey, PA. After arriving at PHL, guests can take the SEPTA Airport Line into Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station, which connects to Amtrak rail services. From 30th Street Station, Amtrak’s Keystone Service runs regularly between Philadelphia and Harrisburg, PA. Once in Harrisburg, Hershey is just a 20–30 minute drive (or rideshare) away from the train station. There are also smaller Amtrak stops nearby, including Elizabethtown and Middletown, which may offer additional flexibility. Taking the train is a comfortable and scenic way to reach Hershey — and can be an enjoyable part of your trip, especially if you want a relaxing ride rather than driving the whole way.

Harrisburg International Airport (MDT)

Harrisburg International Airport is the closest airport to Hershey and a very convenient option for our guests. MDT is located just 10–12 miles away, making it roughly a 15–20 minute drive to Hershey. Getting to Hershey by Train MDT is connected directly to the Middletown Amtrak Station, which is only a few minutes from the terminal via a short shuttle or rideshare. From Middletown, Amtrak’s Keystone Service offers frequent trains to Harrisburg Station, which is about 20–30 minutes by car from Hershey. Some guests may also choose to ride into Elizabethtown or Lancaster, depending on schedules, before completing the short drive to Hershey. Traveling through MDT is quick, easy, and low-stress — perfect for guests who want the smoothest arrival experience.
