Inman park is one of Atlanta's oldest neighborhoods. Lots of green space, walkable, with old historic houses - this is a great home base to experience Atlanta. Check out the ever-changing Krog Street tunnel and pop on over to Krog Street market (we recommend Nina & Rafi's for pizza, Gu's for dumplings, or a sweet treat from The Little Tart Bakeshop). About 4 miles from venue (15-20 minutes)
Travel Note
Poncey-Highland is a cute, classic neighborhood with a lot of character. Walk down the Beltline, catch a movie at The Plaza (the city's longest running independent theater), or grab a drink with a view at Hotel Claremont's rooftop bar. If you have time, check out the eclectic shops at Little 5 Points nearby. About 5 miles from venue (20-25 minutes)
Travel Note
Our neighborhood! Centrally located with hundreds of options for dining and enjoyment. Check out an exhibit at the High Museum of Art, visit the Botanical Gardens, or simply get a coffee and stroll through Piedmont Park to enjoy the fall leaves. If you want a good southern meal, Mary Mac's Tearoom doesn't take reservations but the fried chicken is worth it. About 4 miles from venue (15-20 minutes)
Travel Note
Grant Park is a tree-lined neighborhood known for it's Victorian and Craftsman-style homes. We recommend visiting Zoo Atlanta or (if you're feeling spooky) the famous and sprawling Oakland Cemetery. Plus, it's only 1 mile from downtown Atlanta. The nearby Sweet Auburn neighboorhood is home to The King Center & Martin Luther King Jr. Park - both of which are walking distance from MLK's childhood home and church (Ebenezer Baptist). About 3 miles from venue (10-15 minutes)
