Is there a hotel block for out-of-town guests?

Answer

There is not a hotel block; rather, we have linked to a platform for booking your room at a specially negotiated price for our wedding guests. The rates through this link may sell out or change, so if you see a price or location that works for you, we recommend booking sooner rather than later. Please plan on getting your seasonal COVID and flu vaccines and testing for COVID ahead of the wedding.

Answer

With the bride and several others in attendance being high-risk for complications due to COVID and the flu, we encourage you to show your love for her and other guests by opting to get your seasonal boosters before the wedding. Additionally, it would be a great gift to the newlyweds if you would take a COVID test the day before the wedding. If you feel unwell the morning of the big day, we would appreciate you staying home to focus on getting better rather than attending and spreading a virus.

Stancato's Italian Restaurant is catering a buffet-style meal of chicken piccata, rigatoni with marinara sauce, meatballs, green beans, salad, and bread. If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, please indicate as such when you RSVP.

What should I wear?

Answer

Wear your Sunday best, but ties and jackets (and high heels) are optional. Our ceremony is an outdoor lakeside ceremony and is a bit more casual than semi-formal; we want you to feel comfortable as well as beautiful. The bridal party is wearing shades of blue if you're trying to pick a color that doesn't have you mistaken for a bridesmaid. The groomsmen will be wearing gray suits.

Can I bring a plus-one or my kids?

Answer

We have done our best to invite as many of our loved ones as possible but have had to make some tough decisions with our guest list and tried to do so consistently across both the bride's and groom's friends and family. Additionally, the reception is for those 21 years old and older. That being said, only the names of those listed in the online RSVP and on wedding stationary address labels are invited to the reception. If your significant other or child is not listed with your name for the RSVP, they are not invited to the reception, but all are welcome to celebrate with us at our ceremony.
