While this was a very difficult decision, we have decided not to move forward with our reception on September 25, 2021. Although this was not the festivities we had initially planned for, the small wedding that we celebrated brought us more happiness than we could have imagined. We have uploaded some pictures from our celebration and wanted to share a brief glimpse into the day. On September 26, 2020, we held an intimate wedding ceremony and celebration, surrounded by our immediate family and wedding party. With Mike Barry, our brother-in-law, as the officiant leading the charge, the ceremony took place on the bay in Avalon, NJ. We exchanged our handwritten vows with Shane, Cormac, and Molly by our side, our parents and grandparents in the front row, and our nephews surprising us with jars of sand from the Sea Isle beaches we grew up going to. Having our grandparents there watching us wed will forever be something we hold close to our hearts. Just when we thought the day couldn't get better, it was followed by a backyard reception that would not have been possible without the help of our friends and family. We are sad that we could not celebrate with all of the guests that we had originally intended to, but cannot wait to see you all soon. Wishing you all health and happiness during these strange times!
