Question

Everything you need to know!

Answer

When should I arrive? Our welcome celebration begins promptly at 5:30 PM. Guests are encouraged to arrive a bit early, grab a drink, mingle, and get settled. Please be seated by 6:00 PM, as the ceremony will begin at that time. ⸻ Can I get a drink before the ceremony? Yes! Guests are encouraged to enjoy a drink prior to the ceremony. ⸻ What is the dress code? Semi-formal. We kindly encourage light colors and lightweight fabrics to match the season and setting. Please avoid all-white dresses. Our celebration is laid-back, so dress comfortably while still feeling polished. ⸻ What kind of shoes should I wear? The ceremony and reception will take place on grass. We recommend wedges, block heels, flats, or sandals, and suggest avoiding thin heels. ⸻ What will the ceremony and reception be like? We will have a very relaxed schedule set in place mostly including a couple scheduled dances and a time for speeches. Dinner will be served immediately after the ceremony. Our total guest count is 65 of our very closest friends and family. ⸻ How will dinner be served? Dinner will be served family-style, with guests encouraged to eat when they feel comfortable. This is a casual, communal meal meant to be enjoyed at your own pace. ⸻ Will dessert be served? Yes! We’ll be serving ice cream in the evening after dinner 🍦 ⸻ Will alcohol be available? Yes. Please enjoy responsibly, and we kindly ask that anyone drinking ensures they have a sober driver. ⸻ Who can I contact with questions? All guests are welcome to reach out directly to the bride or groom with any questions at all — we’re happy to help.
