We're getting married!!

Our story begins when we matched on Bumble. Amanda sent the first message, simply saying, "Hey." Connor replied with, "Where did you get that margarita flight?" and our conversation took off from there. The biggest surprise during our initial chats was discovering that we grew up in the same town and attended the same school, yet we had never crossed paths! Our first date was on August 22, 2023, at Wonderland! We played a round of mini golf and then decided to have dinner at Pools. We enjoyed several amazing dates before Connor officially asked Amanda to be his girlfriend at the Spokane County Fair on September 13, 2023. We created many wonderful memories together, traveling and cherishing each moment. On May 27, 2024, we found ourselves in a beautiful cabin in Canada, atop a stunning mountain. Connor mentioned that he was going to set up a cute date outside and would call me when it was ready. Little did I know, he was preparing the perfect proposal. When he called me outside, I was completely unaware of what was about to unfold. As I walked up the steps to the fireplace, I saw rose petals and candles lighting the way. I still had no clue what was coming! When I reached Connor, he had a fire going, a cozy blanket laid out, and a charcuterie board with wine waiting for us. It was then that I realized this was more than just a cute date! He got down on one knee, spoke the most beautiful words, and asked me to marry him! Of course, I said yes! I was overwhelmed with joy and happiness! We spent the next few days exploring Canada and making even more memories together. We have been through so much as a couple! We transitioned from living in a small RV to a bigger one, and eventually to an apartment. I finished school and earned a second degree. We learned that Connor has Crohn's Disease, and we are figuring out how to navigate it together. Through both the hard times and the good times, we've discovered how to function as a couple. We know we can overcome anything and everything together! We are filled with excitement as we eagerly await the best day of our lives—the day we will exchange vows and become husband and wife. May 30th, 2026, can’t come soon enough! We envision celebrating our love surrounded by family and friends, creating unforgettable memories. As we prepare for this special day, we also look forward to building our dream home together, a place filled with love, laughter, and the stories we will create as we embark on this beautiful journey side by side. The future is bright, and we can’t wait to make it a reality!
