What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal. Photos and ceremony will be held beachside, so comfortable footwear is highly encouraged. The wedding colors will be forest green, earth brown, and dusty blue, with gold accents. These colors are not a requirement, however feel free to coordinate if you'd like!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Mid-October is generally cool, damp, and partly cloudy being right at the cusp of storm season. Daytime highs are generally 55-60°F with nighttime lows at 45-50°F. Light rain showers and afternoon winds are likely. We recommend a light jacket and clothing that takes wind into account.

When should we come?

If you are flying in from out-of-state, feel free to fly in on Friday, October 9th or before, whatever works best for you. The room package is set for the 10th and the 11th, so if you are planning on coming on an earlier day you will need to book accommodations either with the resort at regular rates or at a different hotel in town.

How do we get there?

Answer

You will need to get a rental car if coming from out-of-state; public transit is basically non-existent on the coast. We recommend flying in to Eugene (1 hour drive). Although flying in to Portland is doable, Portland is a much further drive (3 hour drive).

Where do we stay?

Answer

We highly recommend people stay at the Driftwood Shores resort that will be hosting our ceremony and reception. There are several different types of rooms available at the group rate.

What if I can't attend in-person?

Answer

While we'd love to see you in Oregon, we completely understand if you are unable to join us in-person. We will have a link inserted on this page closer to the event date with a live video option for those who are unable to attend.
