What is the attire?

Answer

The attire is semi-formal. Gentlemen: suit and tie. Ladies: cocktail or floor length dress. Please no denim or khakis.

Are children invited?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults only affair. To ensure all wedding guests (especially busy parents) enjoy a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry, we kindly request that you arrange for childcare during this time. If you’re traveling in from out of town and plan to bring your little one(s), please let Brittany or Connor know and we may be able to help set up child care locally with trusted babysitters within 20 mins of the venue. Thank you for understanding!

Is parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes, plenty of parking is available onsite at Balmorhea, where both the ceremony and reception will be held. If you drive and decide to leave your car overnight, please ensure it is removed from the Balmorhea parking lot by 10am on Saturday, May 4, 2019.

If a guest uses the after reception shuttle, how long can a vehicle be left at the venue?

Answer

Vehicles must be moved from the Balmorhea parking lot by 10am on Saturday, May 4, 2019.

Is there a hotel room block?

Answer

Yes, most out of town family and friends will be staying at the Embassy Suites on Hughes Landing Blvd. in The Woodlands, TX. Check out the “Travel” tab above for more information on the hotel and the room block!

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors. If the weather is nice, there is potential for part of the cocktail hour to be outside.

Where is the couple registered? How does the registry work through Zola.com?

Answer

All items that we have registered for can be found under the “Registry” tab of this website. The items on the Zola registry come from various stores, including popular online retailers like Amazon. Zola allows guests to view registry items from all stores in one location! Upon clicking an item, you'll be asked to provide your email address (so Zola can "hold" & confirm item purchase to avoid duplicates). Zola then directs you to the store website to purchase the selected item. Additionally, a unique feature of Zola is that it allows multiple guests to contribute toward items, both big and small. Finally, we also have a separate, larger registry through Bed Bath & Beyond. You can find the link under "OTHER REGISTRIES" at the top of the "Registry" tab or by searching our names on the Bed Bath and Beyond website.

Answer

All items can be accessed through the “Registry” tab on this website, but we are registered at Bed Bath and Beyond and through Zola!

Are there ride share services in the area?

Answer

Yes, ride share service (i.e. Uber, Lyft, Taxi etc.) are available in the Woodlands, TX area and to and from the venue (Balmorhea) in Magnolia, TX.
