Our event will be 'Semi Formal', this is so that everyone may dress up, but still have the flexibility for their comfort. This can include slacks, khakis, and polos and button ups, skirts, dresses, pantsuits, blouses, and jumpsuits. (White blouses and button ups are welcome, but please no blue jeans or any other WHITE). If you would like to follow the color scheme you are more than welcome. The colors: Neutrals and Pastels Of course, nothing is required. it is just strongly preferred and appreciated for the sake of pictures.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we absolutely love and adore your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event, with the exception of the immediate families. This is so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time, however, we also understand if this means that you may not be able to attend. We truly hope you can celebrate with us.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited spacing at the venue, we are only able to accommodate those formally invited on your wedding invitation. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

The deadline for RSVPs is October 20th and can also be located on your formal invitation. This is a strict deadline so please get yours in as soon as possible so we can enjoy our special day with you!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4 pm so the bride and groom ask that you arrive and have a seat by 3:30 pm so that the bride and groom can start on time and to keep people from walking in once the bridal party has lined up and the ceremony has begun.

Question

Where will the reception be at?

Answer

Our ceremony & reception spaces are both located on the same property. The address can be found on your formal invitation.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Our registry is located here on Zola. Just click on the Registry tag.

Question

What gift can we get you?

Answer

While we appreciate anyone wanting to give a physical gift as we have been moved into our home and living on our own for a while, we have everything we need for our home and so we would gladly appreciate if instead you would contribute to our Honeymoon Fund. It can be found her on Zola under Registry or we will be having money dances during the reception along with a box if you would like to gift cash. We will also have QR codes to scan for Zelle, Cashapp, and Venmo. However, gifts are not necessary and we love and appreciate your attendance with or without a gift.

Question

Will there be food?

Answer

We will be serving food from T Doug's at the reception. We will have chicken and sausage gumbo, garlic shrimp pasta, potato salad, chicken strips, and rolls. We will have tea, lemonade, and water to drink. For dessert we will have the Bride and Groom cake. The cakes will be chocolate, vanilla, white, carrot, and red velvet cake. DISCLAIMER: If you are allergic to seafood, please do not eat the garlic shrimp pasta as it has seafood. This is the only seafood dish served at the reception.
