Maid of Honor
Hannah's roommate and life partner (besides Connor). Hannah and Abi have been inseparable since the day they met. Abi and Hannah's friendship started at PLNU when they were neighbors at Hendricks dorm and their relationship quickly grew. From the ever prolonging college thoughts of "what am I going to do with my life" to "I promise I will do the dishes tonight, DO NOT TOUCH THEM", they have basically been through all of life's struggles together. Hannah could not imagine anyone else standing by her side as she starts this new chapter of her life.
Best Man
Connor's younger brother, who constantly drove him to be better at everything he does and has stuck by him throughout all of the ups and downs of growing up -- even after Connor resorted to the using the TV remote as a weapon in one of their fights. Slater may be his brother's biggest instigator, but he's also one of his best friends. Connor would not be the man he is today if not for Slater -- he's taught Connor how to be resourceful (by inventing new games to play while their parents were at work), how to be patient (by finding Connor's Christmas presents in his parents' room and spoiling the surprise of what he would get for Christmas) and how to be strong through life's biggest challenges.
Bridesmaid
Hannah's newest (and only) sister. Kimmy has been a part of the crazy Delahunty family for 8 years and finally married Hannah's brother Lewis in June of this year. Kimmy and Hannah bonded by laughing about the minor frustrations Lewis has caused them, and they've always wondered why his hands are always so sticky.
Groomsman
Connor's current roommate and one of his best friends since seventh grade, Thomas has been by the groom's side through almost everything. During middle school, they played computer games together every day after school while waiting for their parents to pick them up. They were in the same discipleship group when Connor committed his life to Christ, and they've been roommates for almost the entire length of Connor's relationship with Hannah. They don't speak about it much, but Thomas and Connor both entirely credit the now-defunct website www.i-am-bored.com for their friendship, as it brought them both together through their mutual love of video games and boredom after school.
Bridesmaid
Hannah's closest nursing friend and fellow life-saver. She's Hannah's late night Mexican food run-type of friend. Attending PLNU, Bekah and Hannah shared the general struggles of loving to have a good time in Pacific Beach but also attending a strict school where on-campus parties aren't a thing. Having Bekah around has been a huge blessing for Hannah throughout nursing school and early in her career, as the time they spend together always helps her relax and escape the struggles she deals with in the hospital. But maybe most of all, Hannah loves Bekah because she always lets Hannah finish off her margaritas.
Groomsman
One of Connor's best friends since they both joined the cross country team in their freshman year of high school. Andy was Connor's first friend on the team, and they eventually grew closer on the track team, competing together for four years before touring colleges together and heading off for rival schools in LA. No longer athletes, Connor and Andy still found ways to get outside in college, racing down the ski slopes in the winter seasons. Each of the two has bailed the other out of some pretty scary skiing situations, yet both always found the time to laugh about it afterwards. They both may or may not still hold grudges that last to this day about not being named track captains in their senior year of high school -- it's best not to ask them about it at the wedding.
Bridesmaid
"Sweet, sweet Kristi kiki" is one of Hannah's college roommates and closest friends. She's the type of friend who always encourages Hannah -- even if it's encouraging her to fulfil some of her most ridiculous ideas, like dressing up as a blueberry for Halloween. Hannah has always appreciated how Kristi's arms are always open for a hug, especially because Hannah isn't a very touchy person. Hannah likes to look back on their crazy college days, when the two would drive around in Hannah's Honda Pilot and Kristi endlessly tried to set Hannah up with boys from school. Kristi always says she can make anything beautiful, and that has definitely been the case with this friendship.
Groomsman
One of Connor's best friends, Cameron and Connor have known each other since seventh grade and have been friends through several musical phases. First, they played together in a rock band in middle school, but unfortunately, creative differences drove the band apart. Next, they played in the high school concert band, before joining together to create a jazz band which eventually competed in (and lost) a Southern California regional competition that was clearly rigged from the start. Cameron and Connor both played in their college bands, but they both eventually realized music wasn't for them anymore. They don't talk about it much, but both Cameron and Connor occasionally lie awake at night and wonder what could've been if not for the creative differences of their middle school rock band.
Bridesmaid
Demi is Hannah's college roommate, close friend and occasional style advisor. Hannah appreciates Demi's loyalty, as well as how spending time together has allowed the two to expand each other's wardrobes. Demi was actually the first person to find out Hannah was texting Connor -- she saw Hannah smiling at her phone and asked "who's that boy you're texting?" Hannah reluctantly spilled, and the rest is history.
Groomsman
One of Connor's first friends at Azusa Pacific University, Jeremiah was an integral part of the groom's college experience and has become one of his best friends. Jeremiah and Connor studied marketing together at APU, and they took every class together that they possibly could. Some of the pairing's best memories came on the second floor of their freshman dorm Smith Hall, as the two would organize and play card games every night until 3 a.m. They would've played longer, but 3 a.m. was apparently the time it was no longer considered socially acceptable to run around the building and yell at the top of their lungs, which they did at the end of every game, win or lose. Connor was honored to be a groomsman at Jeremiah's wedding, and he's excited to have Jeremiah by his side in his own wedding.
Bridesmaid
Nicole is another of Hannah's college roommates and one of her closest friends. Attending PLNU together, Hannah and Nicole enjoyed de-stressing together by laying on the floor and watching Gilmore Girls. Nicole was also an occasional style advisor to Hannah, as the two shared so many clothes and tipsy wine nights. Hannah appreciates Nicole's joyfulness and understanding -- especially after Hannah yelled at Nicole to get up off the floor when she drunkenly fell down at a PLNU school dance. Later that evening, Hannah and Nicole hung out in their dorm bathroom, laughed and made up songs. Nicole is full of life, and she has definitely always kept Hannah's life fun.
Groomsman
One of Connor's best friends and college roommates, TJ was one of the best teammates Connor has played with in his life. Their chemistry translated across intramural sports, their freshman dorm's spikeball and dodgeball tournaments and perhaps most importantly, NHL video games they'd team up on against their college friends. TJ was the last person Connor talked to before going on his first date with Hannah and the first person he spoke with afterwards. Connor still feels bad about abandoning plans he had with TJ when Hannah told him she was free to go on their fist date, but with hindsight, they both know it was for the best.
Bridesmaid
Courtnie is Hannah's longest-tenured roommate and one of her closest friends. Courtnie played soccer at Point Loma, and even though Hannah doesn't really like sports, she would always drop everything just to watch this girl play soccer. Hannah appreciates how Courtnie would always let her nap in her bed during sophomore year, and how she was always there to sit and listen when Hannah needed someone to talk to. Courtnie is one of Hannah's most patient friends, and one of the most badass people she knows.
Groomsman
One of Connor's best friends since Kindergarten, Eddie was one of the groom's first ever friends. The two grew up together, walking, biking and eventually driving to each other's houses, playing on the same soccer and basketball teams and making each other laugh the entire time. They both share a mutually absurd adoration of Panda Express, having generated thousands of dollars in revenue for the fast food restaurant company from their near-weekly "Pan-dates," in which they'd walk to Panda, order the same meal and proceed to complain about not getting a fortune cookie with their meal, rather than just ask for one.
